Rescue Rangers |
SASI is a member of the MSU Coalition of Animal Protection Organizations (CAPO), a coalition that works with animal advocacy organizations at the local, county, and state levels. Recently, it has started volunteering with the Michigan Political Action Committee for Animals (Mi-PACA), an organization that campaigns for legal protections for Michigan's wild, farmed, and companion animals. The SASI Rescue Rangers are a group of MSU professional, graduate, and undergraduate students, as well as non-students, who help rescue injured and abandoned wild, farmed, and companion animals on the MSU campus and in the Greater Lansing area. Recently, they have started volunteering with All Species Kinship (ASK), an animal protection organized in Battle Creek.
